Another World Is Possible

The World Social Forum (WSF) is a huge assembly of social movements whose slogan is ‘another world is possible’. In 2006 Gateshead Unison sent a delegation to it in Caracas, Venezuela where 80,000 people joined together from all over Latin America and the rest of the world to spend 5 days planning action on the issues that affect us all. The aim of the WSF movement is to find alternatives to the corporate globalisation which dominates the world today. Directed by Julie Nicholson in Newcastle. |
